Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it's generous. A free account lets you save up to 50 invoices, send them by email, keep a client book of up to 50 clients and set business profile defaults — no card required. Creating and downloading invoices and quotes works even without an account.

How much does a paid plan cost?

There's one paid feature set, billed two ways: Freelancer at €5/month, or Business as a single €35 payment for lifetime access. Both unlock exactly the same features.

Do I need an account to use Plain Statement?

No. Creating invoices and quotes and downloading them as PDFs works with no account. You only need a free account to save invoices, send by email or keep a client book.

What's the difference between Freelancer and Business?

None in features — both unlock unlimited invoices and clients, share links, EU VAT (VIES) validation, the audit ledger, recurring invoices and PDF receipts. Freelancer is €5/month; Business is a one-time €35 payment for lifetime access with no subscription.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Freelancer is billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime from your account. Business is a one-time payment, so there's nothing to cancel. Invoices you've already created are always yours to keep.
